Sunday, June 24th, 2007 is the next repChrist event. Don’t miss it. We got The Iccsters in attendance from Irvington Covenant Church, as well as 1st Infantry from Mt. Olivet, and a special appearance by Waslyk (pronounced was-like, as in “I got Jesus now… but let me tell you what I was like.â€) of Spokane Washington. Of course you know the repChrist Praise Squad (click for a video intro of repChrist style worship) will be holding down the praise and worship set. Oh..yeah…did I mention…its FREE! So come out, hear some fire, and get some too. For more information….check out repChrist.com.
Website Updates!
Happy New Year everybody. I hope your holidays went well.  Just a couple of website thoughts:
repChrist is back for 2007!
That’s right folks. Turn off the Boondocks cause repChrist is coming again this January 28, 2007. We look forward to a great launch so tell your friends to get ready. We’ll let yall know who the special guest is as soon as we get it locked down…but rest assured you will be sure to see The Iccsters, J-Mac, Dino, Nazrhite, and the rest of the repChrist Praise Squad. Don’t sleep. Look for updates soon on www.repchrist.com.
repChrist Game for Christ
PDXBOX.NET is putting on a charity tournament for repChrist called Game for Christ. Please support this fundraising opportunity by coming yourself, or even sponsoring a young person that would benefit from this event. In addition to the tournament itself, The Iccsters, as well as others will be performing. You can check out the details at repChrist.com or just download the promotional flyer here.
Youth Christmas Program
Christmas Eve morning, Irvington Covenant Church will hold it’s annual Christmas program. Please come and support our young people as they celebrate Christmas in song, dance, and memory recitals.
ICC is bloggin’ now!
Welcome to the official blog of Irvington Covenant Church.  We welcome you to this new section of our website. We know that many of you are familiar with blogs, the blogging format in general, and the benefits a blog will bring to our body…but some are not. To read a short tutorial on blogs click here.
Our hope is that this will be a resource for you to find out new information about the happenings here at Irvington Covenant Church.
Some random thoughts about this new blog rollout:
- There isn’t a whole lot here yet. This is due to the fact that it has just started. I will be adding a bunch of announcements and upcoming event dates over the next couple of days. Please be patient there is a lot to do.
- Being there is a lot to do I want to let people know that ICC Webteam is currently recruiting members. If you are a writer/editor, a photographer, artist, or you just want to help…contact Paul Greenidge. He is the door and will help get you set up with how to proceed.
- A big part of our site is the fantastic group of pictures we have as a part of our history. In addition to the photographs in the gallery, each blog page will feature a random photo at the top. While we are excited about this, we do have a problem. We need to get photo release forms filled out by the parents. Pictures featuring individuals without a photo release form will be removed from both the gallery and the featured photo section of the blog. While I don’t have a timeline for this, you are warned. If for some reason you want your image removed you can request so by emailing me at jomo@nazrhite.com. You can download the photo release form here. Also the webteam is in the process of putting together a policy on photo usage. Look for that to come.
